The Mechanobiology and Biomechanics Forum is a new cross-faculty platform at The University of Manchester that connects researchers working in mechanobiology, cell-matrix biology, (bio)nanomechanics, biomaterials, developmental biology, cancer sciences, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine.

Our aim is to harness the collective expertise of the Forum’s multidisciplinary community to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing. We promote the development of key methodologies, technologies, and research strategies to better understand the role of biomechanics in biological systems across health, disease, and development.

Through networking opportunities, seminars, and workshops, the Forum provides a space to share findings, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions across all related fields of research.
