Learn how simulation glasses can be used to enhance self-evaluation so that better reflects the suitability of the wider population. Also learn how automated tools and algorithms can predict the necessary font size that’s required for an interface or display, and test digital screenshots to see whether the text within has adequate size and sufficient contrast.

Speaker’s bio

Sam Waller is a senior researcher within the Inclusive Design Group at the Cambridge Engineering Design Centre. Sam championed the Inclusive Design Toolkit website and has written in-depth guidance on requirements for size and contrast of text. Sam also developed the Cambridge Simulation Glasses.
